Welcome Freudless in Raptorville. This page aims to be my professional portfolio as a level designer in the video games industry, as well as a place for me to post and discuss my thoughts and ideas regarding the state of the industry.

Having an academic background in the games field, I have a serious interest in knowing how people consciously and subconsciously reason when they look at and play games, and I strive to incorporate this in my work. It is my opinion that much of the design conventions used in the industry today is based more on gut feeling and experience rather than understanding. But, hey, if it works, right?
